At EBG we specialise in the management of a project from a concept on the back of a napkin to handover. Building your home or renovation can seem complex and stressful – it doesn’t need to be. 

Our structured approach avoids the traditional problems that come from misalignment of brief, budget, architect, builder and client. We do this through early involvement and engagement with you, setting up the project to succeed from the outset by asking the right questions at the right time. 

Our holistic in-house services include; concept design, sustainability advice, design management, cost planning, energy rating, project management, fixed lump sum pricing and onsite management.   

These skills make EBG very different to other builders who simply price architects documents. Our non-traditional approach is flexible, but generally includes:

• Assessment of site specific opportunities in design to maximise passive design potential making your home as energy efficient as possible from the outset.
• Provision of a realistic and honest assessment of scope, budget and timing at concept design stage which avoids developing a design that was always going to be over budget.
• Design and buildability inputs to engineering and architectural design to optimise the structure and services. These elements make up 60% of construction cost and are often overlooked in design phases. 
• De-risking of site conditions and Authority matters through our expert network of Town Planners, Building Surveyors, Draftspeople, soil engineers and specialist subcontractors / suppliers.
• Focusing on developing a cohesive, transparent and trusting client relationship in the lead up to the construction phase of the project. 

Building

We believe our experience delivers the highest workmanship and quality and we pride ourselves on a “no surprises” culture meaning you are always informed on the progress and challenges of the on site phase of your project. 

Unlike traditional builders where quotes are often unclear and missing scope which results in variations, EBG provides fixed lump sum pricing with clear scope developed to avoid variations.

Green

We are passionate about maximizing the environmental credentials of every project we undertake at Easy Building Green and this is completed on a site by site basis.

This starts by ensuring the building envelope is an efficient as possible by considering initiatives such as orientation, envelope, room and glazing layouts, natural ventilation, shading, insulation and landscape. These principles are often overlooked.

We can also advise you on the inclusion of Solar Panels (Photovoltaics), heating and cooling alternatives, solar hot water / heat pump water heaters and rainwater reuse should you wish to maximize the reduction of your environmental footprint.
